While we already got quite a few interesting things stacked up internally, we are always happy to listen to your feature requests. Please understand that we can only consider those features that meet our vision for Untold Novel, though.
Roadmap
Our goal is to make Untold Novel the number 1 Novel Planning app of your choice. After having an awesome Version 1.0 ready, we are looking to add more and more features over the next couple of months. Regarding the timeframe, we’ll release new features as they become ready. Next to that we’ll do our best to push regular updates containing potential bug fixes.
In terms of new features, please understand that we can’t go into any detail here. What we can say, though, is that we already got quite a few either planned or in development.
We are also planning to make strides with accessibility and we are looking to add support for more languages in the future.
Customization
Every human is different. Everyone works differently. And everyone has a different way of doing things. While we can’t catch every single variation, Untold Novel was build from the ground up to serve as many writers as possible. Therefore you can set many standard values right from the settings menu.
Things like standard colors, a fixed word target for new projects, a dedicated Genre list, Categories, Genders and more are all customizable to your demand.
And obviously, Untold Novel comes in both light and dark mode – just as you’d expect from a modern iOS app!

Pricing and License
We are happy to announce that Untold Novel comes with a one-time purchase which covers all updates to the major version you purchased. In other words: If you purchased Untold Novel 1.x, all updates to Untold Novel 1.x. are included free of charge. Only a potential update to another major version like 2.0 may come with an update fee. Rest assured, though, that we are still far from that point.
On top of that, Untold Novel uses what we call a Universal License, or in other words: buy once – get access on all available platforms (currently iOS, iPadOS) – as long as you are using the same Apple Account (formerly Apple-ID) that you’ve used for the purchase.
