Beta Testing
As we are constantly developing new features for Untold Novel, these new features need to be tested prior to their release. Non-surprisingly, we can’t test these features on all available devices and form factors ourselves. We are therefore looking for volunteers who’d like to contribute to the future of Untold Novel. If you love using our app and would like to contribute, feel free to join our beta testing program.
Please note: Beta versions may introduce major issues including potential data loss. Beta tests may also end abruptly without any warning. So please don’t sign up to our beta in an attempt to sneak a free version of Untold Novel.
Please also note: Beta testing is designed to help us figure any issues introduced in new versions and also to gather feedback on new features. The number of available spots is limited, which means two things. First: We may remove users from beta testing who don’t contribute at all, to open up spots for other users and second: We may not have a spot available for you when try to sign up for beta testing. If that’s the case, we highly encourage you to try again at a later point as we will open up more spaces from time to time.
If you desperately want to help supporting Untold Novel, though, without any open spots left, please shoot us a message telling us why you want to be added as a beta tester and we may add you manually.
How to
As you may or may not know, Apple offers a dedicated system to make beta testing as easy as possible: TestFlight. TestFlight, is used to distribute beta versions of apps to their users. You can download TestFlight from the AppStore for free. Once signed up for a beta, you can then download that beta version from TestFlight, just like you are used to download an app from the AppStore.
Beta testing currently requires either an iPhone or an iPad running iOS/iPadOS 17 or above. The minimum requirement may change in the future, as new features may require a higher OS. You can sign up for the beta of Untold Novel using this link:
