Untold Novel version 1.3 is now available as a free update to everyone who already owns a license for Untold Novel for iOS and iPadOS.
This update introduces the Writer’s habit tracking including challenge mode.
Our writer’s habit tracker is basically two things in one. You can easily track which days you’ve written – great to follow a streak. Or you can take it a step further and note how many words you’ve written each day.
Both values are shown on the calendar – either as a purple circle, which indicates the days you’ve written, and a green circle to indicate that you’ve reached your personal word goal for that day. As it has always been the case for NaNoWriMo, the daily word count is set to 1.667 words by default. We’ll introduce an option to modify that soon.
The challenge mode – Untold Novel Monthly Challenge – is here for you to earn badges for certain achievements: Like reaching your daily word count, or other milestones.
Both together should make writing sessions more fun and engaging – either on a monthly basis or continously.
